3 weeks ago, we let out our cat, Limpy, in the morning and she never came back. We put up signs around the neighborhood, called the local vets, called the animal shelter and the emergency pet clinic, all with no luck. She disappeared without a trace. She was such a homebody cat, too, that it was very strange for her to be gone like that. We are wondering if someone hit her with their car and she wandered off somewhere to die or if another animal got her (coyote?).

Needless to say, it has been lonely without her during the day to keep me company and sleep on my feet at night at the bottom of the bed. We had her for almost 7 years, so I guess it was better for her to be gone this way than to get old and tired. I just didn't expect her to be gone first.
